1602 uses a standard 16-pin interface, of which:
Pin 1: GND is the power ground
The second pin: VCC is connected to the positive pole of the 5V power supply
The third pin: V0 is the contrast adjustment terminal of the LCD. The contrast is the weakest when the positive power is connected, and the contrast is the highest when the power is grounded (the contrast will be too high when the contrast is too high, and the contrast can be adjusted through a 10K potentiometer) .
The fourth pin: RS is the register selection, when the high level is 1, the data register is selected, and when the low level is 0, the instruction register is selected.
The 5th pin: RW is the read and write signal line, read operation at high level (1),
The simple schematic diagram with 51 as an example performs a write operation at low level (0).
The 6th pin: E (or EN) end is enable (enable) end, read information when high level (1), negative jump
Execute instructions when changing.
Pins 714: D0D7 are 8-bit bidirectional data terminals. 15th16th feet: empty feet or back light
source. The 15th pin backlight is positive, and the 16th pin backlight is negative.
