The difference from the screen itself:
Écran tactile à ondes acoustiques de surface :
Made of pure glass, vertical and horizontal wedge-shaped ultrasonic transmitting transducers are fixed on the upper left and lower right corners of the screen, and two corresponding wedge-shaped ultrasonic receiving transducers are fixed on the upper right corner. The four perimeters of the screen are engraved with precise reflection stripes at a 45-degree angle. The wire to the controller is generally a round signal cable. As for which brand of the screen is, look directly at the trademark and related logos on the screen. There are two surface acoustic wave touch screens, ELO and Generaltouch.
Écran tactile à détection capacitive :
The bottom layer of multi{{0}}layer composite film glass, the inner surface and interlayer of the glass screen are each coated with an ITO conductive layer. The outermost layer is a protective layer of silica glass with a thickness of only 0.0015 mm. Four electrodes are drawn from the four corners or four sides of the screen, and the wires to the controller are generally round signal cables. The light transmittance of the screen is not as good as that of glass. No regular pitting can be seen on the screen. Currently there is only one brand of Microtouch.
Écran tactile de pression de résistance :
Generally it is a glass (or plexiglass) substrate multi-layer composite film, glass (or plexiglass) as the base layer, the surface is coated with a transparent conductive layer, and the outer surface is covered with a hardened, smooth and scratch-resistant plastic layer , Its surface is also coated with a transparent conductive layer, and there are many small transparent isolation points between the two conductive layers. The appearance of the resistive screen is soft if you touch it with your hands, and you can see the small regular transparent isolation points on the screen under better light. The wire to the controller is generally a flat silver oxide signal wire. Generally (not absolute) from the number of signal lines in the signal line, it is divided into 4 lines, 5 lines, 6 lines...touch screen. The light transmittance of the screen is not as good as that of glass. Resistive pressure touch screens Currently on the market there are mainly four-wire and five-wire resistance touch screens, and there are fewer brands of six-wire resistance touch screens, and other multi-wire resistance touch screens generally need to be ordered.
The most obvious difference between the four-wire resistive touch screen and the five-wire and six-wire resistive touch screen is that the four-wire resistive touch screen has two layers of wires pasted together (some screens may have 5 outgoing wires). , The screen outlets of the six-wire resistive touch screen are all single-layer parallel.
The current market for five-wire resistive touch screens includes brands such as ELO, Microtouch and Onetouch.
Four-wire resistive touch screens are currently in the market: Onetouch, Ronics, G_touch, Magic, Groovy, etc. Some other brands of four-wire resistive touch screens are also entering the mainland market, and users should choose carefully.
Six-wire resistive touch screens are currently taking the "Breakthrough" brand to enter the mainland market first.
Écran tactile à induction infrarouge :
Infrared sensing touch screen users are easy to recognize. Infrared sensing touch screens generally have an outer frame with a circuit board in the frame. The infrared emitting tubes and infrared receiving tubes are arranged in the X and Y directions to form a horizontal and vertical cross infrared matrix in a one-to-one correspondence. Infrared screens are divided into externally mounted and built-in types. The externally mounted type is thicker, generally about 10 mm; the externally mounted type has a pure frame structure and also has a glass pallet. The built-in type generally has a glass pallet. At present, the domestic market mainly has Unitocuh (domestic) and Japan's Minato brand (more expensive).
Difference from the control box:
Depending on the place of origin, trademark, model, and product number on the control box, the touch screen is different. Some control boxes are made by the original factory, and some are made by domestic companies. Generally, only professionals can clearly distinguish them.
Distinguish from the connection mode of the touch screen control box (device) and the computer:
The connection between various touch screens and computers is generally connected to the computer's serial port (there are also USB interfaces), which is the signal part; at the same time, the touch screen also needs a power input part, which is supplied by the computer. ELO products all take power from the computer's mainboard keyboard interface, which is a 5V working voltage; the control box of the Generaltouch surface acoustic wave touch screen needs a 12V power input, and it needs to be directly connected to the computer's power supply. Other touch screen control boxes mostly get power from the keyboard interface of the computer motherboard.
Distinguish from the driver of the touch screen:
Combining the above points, and then looking at the interface of the touch screen driver, you can more accurately distinguish what kind of touch screen is.
